Doha Design Biennal 2026
Exploring the stories brought to Doha through design, craftsmanship and spaces.
Established by Qatar Museums, Design Doha is the region’s biennial for design, bringing together makers and thinkers from across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
Elsewhere is taking you to Doha for its second edition, a programme of over 20 exhibitions, public commissions, place activations, workshops and side events, presented with institutional, regional and cultural partners. Much of it unfolds across Fereej Al Asmakh, one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods, where heritage houses, quiet courtyards and narrow sikkas become settings for the work. A short walk away in Msheireb, Arab Design Now looks at the ideas, materials and hands behind design across the Arab world.
This trip is curated as a path through it all, alongside the museums, craft and people that shape the city beyond the Biennial.
Who is it for?
For designers, architects, artists, creative professionals and anyone with a curious eye for how things are made and why. It is a collective experience, shared with like-minded people who enjoy slow looking, good conversation and discovering a city together through its culture.
